When comparing venue rental fee + food + beverage, The Old Town Chapel is one of the most affordable and charming venues in the Kern County area.  That means with a small budget (making great use of our included decor and naturally beautiful space), a large budget (with amazing florals, a designer dress, and a well-known wedding planner), or anything in between, The Old Town Chapel may be the perfect fit for your wedding day.

Premium Collection (Exclusive Limited Time Offer)

Exclusive Use of Venue for Ceremony and Reception from 8 a.m. to 12 midnight.  All amenities included. Premium Plated Dinner Service for 120 guests. Valet Parking Services. Celebrity DJ Services.  Upgraded children's Play zone with attendant.  Wedding Day coordination services.

Chapel & Court Yard

12 PM to 12 AM use of venue with the use of tables, chairs, linens & dance floor.

  • No hidden fees (There are no additional fees).  The Old Town Chapel service fees and taxes are included. Our only additional optional fees are related to linens and we do require event insurance with The Old Town Chapel listed as the additional insured.)

  • Please note:

  • A 4% sales tax is included in the rental fee and we do require a day of event insurance policy with The Old Town Chapel listed as the additional insured to be returned with your contract. Approximate insurance cost - $175.

  • The Chapel works with a variety of creative partners including DJs, Caterers, Florists, Bakers, Photographers, Designers and Wedding Planners.  We allow outside vendors in order to give you the best options and best chapel experience.  We would like to remind our clients that we can not take responsibility for the performance of your chosen vendors.  The chapel staff includes our event manger, beverage staff and security staff.  Chapel staff will not at any time arrange or remove your personal and decor items.  Staff will not move or adjust your cake or dessert display.  Staff will not play music or adjust your sound system.  The chapel supplies a house sound system for your use but we will not run system.  The chapel does not provide catering services and will not be responsible for the performance of your chosen caterer.  The chapel does refer you to vendors and we do include some vendors in your reception package.  These hand chosen vendors are trusted but again the chapel can not take responsibility for their performance.  Please address your chosen vendors should you have any concerns about their performance.

  • We have discovered that our clients when they do have a problem it is with one of the vendors but there is a tendency to hold the chapel responsible for those vendors.  The quality of your vendors directly correlates to the price they charge.  Please understand that we sincerely would like you to have the perfect day and an over the top 5 star experience with us.  We will do everything we can to make that happen for you.
